  • Someone mentioned that silicone mats have a different cook time than parchment paper. Is that true? And if so, what is the difference in time? Thank you.

    Hello there! The difference in cook time is usually minimal, i.e. baking cookies. Cookies baked on silicone mats might need an extra 1-2 minutes compared to those on parchment paper to achieve the same level of crispness. These tend to insulate the food slightly more than parchment paper, which can sometimes result in a slightly longer cooking time, particularly for recipes requiring high heat or those with longer baking times.
