Chicken Burger Recipe

INGREDIENTS
Hamburgers:
- 2 Clove garlic, crushed
- 1 Pound ground chicken breast
- 2 Tablespoons finely grated onion
- 1 Tablespoons chopped fresh oregano
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 Cup bread crumbs
- 1 Teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
- Hamburger buns
- Lettuce
- Sliced tomato
- Avocado
- Thinly sliced red onion
- Cheese
Hamburger sauce:
- 1 Cup mayonnaise
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 Teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/2 Teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
PREPARATION
- Combine ground chicken, bread crumbs, onion, oregano, paprika, garlic, lemon juice, salt and black pepper to taste in a bowl.
- Form the patties one at a time and place them on a silicone baking mat sheet. You should be able to make six average-sized patties or four larger ones.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook patties in hot oil until dark brown on the bottom, 5 to 6 minutes. Flip the patties and cook until the other side is golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes more.
- For the sauce mix the ingredients (mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, smoked paprika and salt and pepper). Taste and adjust as needed.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading the mayonnaise on each bun, adding the patties and toppings of your choice.
- Serve and enjoy!
